Congrats to the Finnish cules ! Its a monumental result to hold spain in their own back yard with 3 big points on the line! For your country its the biggest result in recent history and there is no shame in that.
The game however was totally lost by Del Bosque's coaching and player selection. Two key Mistakes:
1. You start Villa on LW and Cesc as CF. Cesc is on a dip in form and Villa scored like 5 goals in last 6 games mostly playing CF.
2. You start an off form David Silva instead of the Juan Mata who is having his best year scoring almost 20 goals and assisting just as many.
No need for double pivot you just needed your most in form spanish players in their preferred positi
ons and Spain scores more than a goal with this lineup:

Mata Villa Pedro (workrate)
Since DelB has a crush on cesc you could easily flip cesc for cazorla. But the front line needed some Mata and Villa in the middle.

I would have benched Valdes and Arbeloa in favor of De Gea and Azpilicueta.
I do like the fact that Del Bosque ditched the "False 9" and has Cesc ready to substitute Xavi, who should not play the full 90 minutes.
I really hate that these WCQs are scheduled a week before the Champions League Quarterfinals, couldn't they just ditch the Confederations Cup and play them this summer?
