Gotta say this World Cup so far has been superior entertainment than the last one. We've seen little of the cautious tedious sitting back that characterized the group stages in South Africa. Teams have come to play attacking football, and it's been a pleasure to watch.

I totally agree and that is a really good news.
Lots of goals and matches are open field played by teams. Football as it should be. It's not a case we're in Brazil, the land of football

I agree, but the quality of defenders is a joke at these times

The Italians notorious of producing great defenders, the best being Chiellini currently, and a 38 year old Nesta pisses all over him and them

They get exposed by bad tactics though. Pique & Ramos are world class, they conceded 5. Lugano is very experienced and Godin played an incredible season, they conceded 3 against Costa Rica.
Godin is the perfect example. Talking about which tactics suit a player and which do not.
