Questionable speed. IMO, I'm done with slow players for attacking wide positions. Just can't cut it as a winger without at least a good pace.

Plenty of wide players are not lightening quick.

For City Foden, Grealish and Silva etc all played there.

They have to play in way given freedom to move inside off the ball when it is on and also need pacey players in front line with them to pin the other team back.

Demir will never be the type that can break on teams with pace from half way line but that is not the player he is from what has seen. He is more a AM that plays wide and comes inside or just plays as AM.

Dont rate him as he has been woeful for years in big games for Barca.

Absolute liability as a defender and when pressed.

Tonights game when Italy sit off can still look good but wait until next time he plays a team that presses him.

He has his flaws and even today you could see it now and then.

Tell me the player without flaws
Italy pressed just about as highly, aggressively and competently as anyone ever did. A good team that didn't lose in three years and the game was close, but a big reason Spain came out on top was Busquets.

Italy didnt press they sat off and tried to play on break even with 11 men.

With 10 the left Busi in 20 yds of space when dropped.

Bad day for Rassvet

If Pep is A tier manager, Lucho is a B+ tier, and EV a C tier.

Not at all, Jorginho's ballon chances faded and Lucho winning a glorified friendly doesn't make up for the damage he did in his last 18 months at Barca.

Doubt Dembele will renew.

Would keep him for his perceived threat as much as anything but looks like he will go.

Yeah. The longer his renewal takes, the more I doubt he'll stay. I'm getting PSG vibes. Nowhere near Mbappe's development obviously, but PSG has always kept an eye on Dembele and if he's free they'll take the gamble. And they won't be the only club that will offer him more than Barca.
