Comparing City missing Rodri v Arsenal to Barca unable to beat Granada/Mallorca Sensational stuff...Not only Rodri... City missed KDB who is equally as important as Rodri and they struggled to get by Brighton at weekend also.

First of all, we aren't 8-0. We have two ties, against teams in the bottom 4 of the league, within the last 6. Our general play has been abysmal, particularly in our midfield. We are not playing good football. You know that. I know that. Everyone knows that.

Yea that Porto game was actually the 1 game since He's been out that we "deserve" to have lost, that single 1.

With the right calls we would have won every game in the league since he's been out and that's just an undeniable fact, much like it's a fact that we haven't lost a game since he's been out.

And going by the lewa logic some put forward here, that means we would have won the league without him 😂😂 and with Lord luuk.

The team has a bit less control in midfield yes, but again we weren't playing champagne football with him either, so that line being drawn doesn't make any sense, TBH., city for example had dropped points in like 9 of the 15 games rodri hasn't played or something close to that.

Rodri the real best Midfielder in the world right now, his fanboys were getting a bit carried away with that.

We've proven we can win without him, which I've said multiple times.

We were lucky to pull through without a defeat while missing both Frankie and Pedri who.. are our midfield.

In case anyone missed it we are bypassing midfield play because of these two absences.

We can't control the game, so we instantly go to "exploit space with side changes" and it kind of worked to mask the problem.

As game progressed and Real pressed in midfield they took over middle of park and Gavi/Gundogan could not control ball and looked all over shop at times as Real took over that area of park.

Pedri missed also.

Not what mids offered today... although Gundo did do what he could.

Folk making out Gavi who makes less passes than any starting mid bar Fermin and had lowest pass % of those players is classic seeing what want to see.

Midfield control was lost as soon as Real applied pressure in middle.

Barca could still have won but FDJ has been the best mid on park v them for past year and a bit and he was massively missed.

Gavi and gundo were teared apart with romeu entrance and xavi disasterclass. Ancelotti like a drunk pirate didnt even realise that with modric entrance he had camavinga, modric, valverde and bellingham against gavi, gundo and romeu. To be more precise, you had four of them against gavi and gundo.
