Vitinha is fake boobs. He's worse than Frenkie here in our system.

I actually think Vitinha is great. But in the context of this PSG team, they provide about 5/6 outlets for his 5 metre passing consistently. Their fullbacks, 2 other midfielders and Dembele/Kvara/Barcola/Doue dropping deep in and out gives them countless outlets.

It's not his fault to be given those luxuries, but in that context, Frenkie would be better than him there, and Vitinha much worse than Frenkie here.

Pedri is the best mid player this season so far in the world. I thought that was obvious.

Pedri is the architect of our entire game structure very similar to what Xavi was and there nobody on that level. Everybody else has their pros and cons and can have great impact, but not to such influence.

Vitinha looke fucking horrific defensively in that Villa second leg.

Good player though and helped with extreme pace they have up top in that it makes teams reluctant to press in midfield often and opt to leave more space for midfield.

His best run of games he has clearly been better than Casado and Casados floor is a lot lower also.

Casado/Pedri as a pair was not great and Pedri been better overall in second half of season by a long way.

There is a clear reason Flick preferred FDJ by time got fit.

Question is how many players can we categorize as world class.

We basically named 4 of the best 8 or so midfielders in Europe this season in Pedri, Viti, Frenkie and Barella.

Its still all to play for who is the best of the lot.

Pedri wont be held up as that if doesnt perform v Inter etc and folk will say he was average at best in QF and then out done by Barella etc in semis.

Same with if dont win the league... Real fans will claim likes of Valverde better when clearly hasnt been.

No one thinks Casado is better than FDJ.

Busquets was third best midfielder for Barca... could be best in world in position and still be 3rd best midfielder.

Olmo/Frenkie is close this season for impact had when fit.

Frenkie was more important in the last 16 and QF where was arguably best player across the two legs.

Also more important in winning away to Real in league and away to Atletico to get to final of Copa.

Could easily add another 5, have to put respect on at least 1 off the Liverpool's mids this season even though they fell off, but he wasn't great in the beginning either, so it balances out.

And I wouldn't call more than 3 of the names I listed out WC.
