German League is fast paced and physical. Similar to the PL. Not sure that suits FDJ.

What @khaled_a_d said is true. The club is respectful to former players. Few rotten apples of course like Figo and Dembele. Frenkie's contract demands is not a top tier snake move, it's just business. He hasn't achieved anything significant at the club and will go down in the unremarkable Barca players section.
