Yes but they wont use media for that. It is in interest of agent to let Barca know what Chelsea have offered and they will know as it they use it in salary negotiations etc.

Well, we've reportedly agreed personal terms with him some time ago. Which I know was before Chelsea offered him whatever they have. We could give him some more bonuses or could be a shorter term deal (4 year, although this wouldn't be ideal from amortization standpoint) so we could renegotiate a pay raise in 2-3 years when our finances should be better. Similar to Araujo or supposed new Gavi deal.

Never said Chelsea would think Barca have offered more money than them.. just if they think he is off to Barca may up their offer.
