Tbf to our players, France were terrible apart from Mbappe, Coman and Upamecano. They massively underperformed in the final.

Upamecano was probably the 7th best CB in this French squad, after Varane, Konate, Saliba, Kounde, Pavard and Lucas. And he was a pinned starter for them.
He was Deschamps achilles heel in the tournament, and it finally made him pay

He's been immense for Bayern I think this season after being awful last so wasn't too surprised he started.
