True, Bartra was just a pretty boy unwilling to get dirty. Eric has grit, but he is just too slow and weak.

If Xavi wanted to keep Eric then Inigo signing was pointless, especially with us finally signing a RB too. Makes no sense to sign Inigo as 5th CB option with our limited budget.

So it is what it is, at least Eric will get minutes at Girona instead of mostly sitting on the bench at Barca. Imo it's better that way.

Inigo was signed because of experience and being left footed - the only CB who is left footed in the squad
