Yes barca are obviously going to win every time but i imagine after years of watching us be the best and biggest team in the league he knows we will bounce back and Robin has probably had a word in his ear after they went on holiday together he would at least consider it. If barca wasn't in for him he would try and force a move to us.

My post wasn't really about who was the more attractive club at the moment it was about the two clowns who are running them

With the signing of Mathieu, shouldn't Barcelona be going after someone younger who'll be a starter ?
There both very similar, in how they play, both Left footed and both will end up fighting for the same spot in the starting line up.

This is what is confusing tho out of the three centre back positions the lcb is our strongest with evans and blackett, both whom van gaal rates highly. Surely vermaelen would play on the left of the three?
