I know you're joking, but debuting to get re-injured won't help us, though. And only then he'll have surgery, and then will only be available next season, after that.

This is seriously the worst signing ever. An impeding ban, a position that needed reinforcements so much, and these crooks get vermaelen, knowing he needs surgery.

Like I mentioned Vermaelan is being paid to vacation in Barca, be in hospital and do some very iinfrequent training-when he feels like.

I swear there must be some players out there who just fake injuries and take the money.

With someone like Vermaelan a flat fee of 500K should have been paid and the rest should be based on appearences.

In Spain youth employement is at what 60%??? and yet this guy gets paid to do nothing worthwhile.

A disgrace.

And sold by rosell without Pep's approval. Dmytro was fit and played for us, unlike vermaelen.

I agree with Flavia. Chygrynsky is nothing like Vormaelen. He was just an unneeded signing at the wrong time. Remember how many defenders were already here when he arrived: Puyol, Marquez, Pique, Abidal and Gabi Milito. That's 5 defenders and none were by any means an average one, even if we exclude Milito who was injured at that time. I do not really blame Chygrynsky. He was just unlucky to arrive at the wrong time. I doubted he could ever make his way into the first team.

Chygrynskiy was an acceptable gamble. You can afford to take such risks and make such gambles when you have the best team in history. Not so much now with a team in decline, in transition and in dire need of talented and successful transfers.
