Good game. Maybe not as outstanding as recent ones due to team tactics.

You need to book an emergency appointment with your ophthalmologist if you think what you just watched was a bad game from Balde.

You have to be genuinely blind not to see that Flick tweaked the team tactically by pushing Raphinha to the right to relieve pressure on Yamal and take advantage of the space Mandava and Lino were leaving behind while concentrating on Yamal, leaving Balde all alone on the left, to battle with 2 or 3 AM players most of the time.

Another player who is of extreme and I mean the most extreme importance.

End product is mostly bad but you cannot tell me his isn't playing LW and LB at the same time all game every game while Raphinha plays striker or CAM most the time

His decison making after those run is frustrating as hell. Fuck, justo either go and try to finish it or release the ball sooner. I hope that might come in near future. Thats how world class fb are made

I mean how many players can go on a run like that and then make the right decision/finish. It's a crazy benchmark. For LBs I only remember Marcelo doing that, really.

Bale in his early days used to do that pretty often. Balde looks like he dont know what to do after he escapes several players

Probably his biggest elite quality is that he has to be defended as you do vs a winger. Except he plays deeper and doesn't face top defenders, but attackers and offensive players. And he dusts them in build-up frequently.
