Him and getting Lisandro from Ajax could be amazing.

Gvardiol from Leipzig my 2nd favourite, cause he'd be a bit more expensive too, since it's Leipzig. But he is younger and he probably has a bit higher ceiling than Lisandro, who is more technical of the two for sure.

Don't think Lisandro is that good yet. Not a regular for Argentina for example. Plus he's very short for a CB.

Perhaps we could focus on the Eric-Araujo pair, while signing an opportunity in the market like Luiz Felipe.

Pique as backup, Lenglet sold then Marmol, Mingueza, Comas as squad options while we look to unearth a WC talent for 23/24 or for the B team like Araujo before.

Not forgetting that there is Almeida and Cases coming through.

He won't accept a backup role as in his head still good enough to be a starter, should be make clear that club doesn't count on him anymore and leave for MLS or retire.

Barca B guys you've mentioned are only good enough as 4th/5th CBs (if we'll play with 3 atb) so basically to replace Mingueza in the team. We should bring at least one starting quality CB to replace Pique though. Not totally sold on Garcia yet and Araujo has his injuries that are worrying. Not to mention he still hasn't renewed.

I think Pique is good enough when motivated, and in short bursts of games. Not to be relied on everygame and certainly not every game with Busi in front of them. If he can be convinced of a more rotational role then imo he will be good enough for next season. Were not challenging for a CL any time soon.

Priority absolutely to renew Araujo though (and Gavi, Nico) as the cost of renewal will be infinity less than the cost of replacement.

Would be nice to have that 50-70m transfer fund to go out and get a sure starter like other European clubs can though.

Well if someone worthy enough is signed his head won't be big enough to think he's a starter. Right now even he knows he's better than lenglrt and umtiti

His demands are probably not that big in the grand scheme of things.

There were rumors he was only making around 900,000-1 Million a season which is about right for his Barca B contract.
