Fake news he wanted to move on.

Never said there wont be any bids.. I said see the level of interest. If he carries on like this wont be as big as many have expected in past.

Haha aye v Atlanta where he pointed to pitch as if to say I am here and do my talking here.. then shortly after trade mark brain fart and raising arm for offside with no clue where attacking player was.

Still been selected in CL team of the round.

But yeah. Obviously will make mistakes as any player does but pretty sure his qualities outweigh deficiencies.
We won last La Liga with him leading the last line and he will come good again once fully adapted to flicky-flacka. A system that does take a lot of toll from defenders in general.

Good for him.. defender that score often do. Still had his usual brain fart.

If you are right then fair play he will stay in summer but need to improve for that to be worthwhile. The whole right hand side of pitch is impacted by his passing too much and need more to get best out of Yamal more often.

Won La Liga with him indeed but still maintain that defence was not all it was cracked up to be and a lot of woodwork hit/missed chance and MATS best player.

Can he adapt to Flicks system? Lets see.

Those suggesting Flick should tweak his entire system for an immensely overrated player who;
1) can't properly pass a ball,
2) doesn't defend nearly as good as often portrayed to compensate for him being one of the most low iq defenders around,
3) positions himself like an absolute amateur
should definitely question their mental state.

We have Inigo who is a far more complete defender and when he comes back, I sincerely hope there are no second thoughts about who will pair with Cubarsi at the back. Having a player of Araujo's intelligence in defence and trying to win something will always end in a failure, as proven last season when he was the reason we got outsmarted by a proper European side. If he was some brick wall, a nightmare to Europe's best players then I would probably have a different stance but likes of Vinicius usually have little to no problems humiliating him at the first opportunity they get.

That being said, his contract renewal is a really, really dumb move that will most likely haunt us on the days when those money Juventus offered will seem like a pipe dream.
