If it's his wish to retire in milan, Then we have to respect that, He served the club and the fans ever since he was boy, He earned his wish.
All i can say is good luck capità, I'll miss you.

I doubt Carles is going anywhere. But then I never expected to see Del Piero in Australia either so

I thought the same but I thought back to the Gotze transfer. If Gotze can move to his club's biggest competition in the league based off of a phone call from Pep and being a childhood Bayern fan then Puyol could leave based on a final move to an admired club of his before ending his career and frustration with the current board.

If it's about the board then a huge problem is present with the club. When are elections? I heard Laporta wanted to run again.

If Rosell is the reason that Villa, Puyol, Valdes, Pep, and Abidal get pushed out then he has no business being in charge. Some things are worth more than just money.

Add Keita who jumped ship last year ,though he isn't comparable to those
Anyway , elections in 2016 ,we are just half way in the Rosell era

Trying to piece this all together, there is nothing in Italian press yet that I've seen, this all seemed to come from a TV programme in Barcelona, La Porteria. Not familiar with it, anyone know if it is reliable?

Valdes, Puyol, Abidal and Villa in one summer... someone wake me up, please.

I don't care so much about Villa, who we don't use to his strengths - and who also looks like he lost his strengths. And Valdes makes some major f**k ups to often.
But Puyol? And Abi? They are the soul of our club ffs!

Marca is claiming something else:

Carles Puyol podría estar viviendo su última temporada en el Barcelona debido a que su futuro podría estar en el Milan. A pesar de que el capitán ha renovado hasta 2015, podría probar nuevas experiencias en el fútbol según desveló el programa 'Futboleros' de MARCA TV.

Will have to tune in for the remaining 23 minutes of Futboleros to see if it is more than just hot air. The portals of the newspapers for tomorrow have already been sealed so will take a look at them as well to see if they mention it.

I doubt the rumor to be frank.

SPORT says that we might have actually seen Puyol for the last time in Barca's shirt when he came in for few minutes against Milan back in March. Can't see anything serious in this situation unless Puyi himself comes out and say so. And for that we'll have to wait and see.

I hope it's bs, but I'm really worried.

1st he decided to have surgery on his knee out of the blue, then he went silent. These rumors started because of something, I doubt they took it out of thin air.

It is unacceptable to make him leave us.He is Barcelona and him leaving is the ultimate step of breaking what this team is.Even Leo himself will start feeling uncomfortable with the club ,you can feel it in the air.I cant help looking at that frustration after he missed the goal for the hat trick,he is frustrated and so are many of the players, things are not right..

Unlikely. The likes of Ronaldinho Sylvinho Milito are people Leo was close to and sad to see leave.Heck Pep himself. Its part of life and football . Pinto and Aves will also leave some day and Leo will still be here. Why would Carles exit make him any more uncomfortable than any of the other departures.

YEa, but at least Leo knew the people that still stayed all those years. Leo is gonna be missing the team of people who he started his career with.

Anyway Carles posted this when the rumors first started about why he had surgery. It was message to the media.

This article from back them seems much more reasonable than the negative spin of now but we'll wait and see when Puyol finally speaks himself. In my mind he wont go anywhere. If i recall the surgery before the copa final last year was just as random. Jounalists simply dont have their finger on the pulse of everything like they seem to think they do.
