Why assume that Navas will start? He usually doesn't.

If City are set up to counter attack, that's fine. All Barcelona have to do is keep the ball and tire them out. You should dominate midfield and City have a pretty average defence apart from Kompany and Zabaleta. Their midfielders are naive defensively as well.

City will probably play Milner on the right wing to get some defensive stability as opposed to Nasri or Navas. Silva on the left wing most likely.

Didn't know that, even better for Barça then. Wonder if Demichelis will play in midfield again.

Yeah his knees are pretty much done sadly. They keep getting inflammed even though he plays once a month. Hope this isn't the end of the rope for Tarzan.

I have a similar problem on my left knee and it is PITB. Once injured and not allowed to heal properly, a joint gets to this state.

Since he is not getting younger, I am afraid that we are seeing the end of Tarzan as a permanent Barca player. Otherwise, he risks getting arthritis.

It's very sad thinking of Puyol retired I so badly wanted him to play as long as Maldini and Zanetti !

He'll be in a wheelchair before he lasts that long. It's right to say that he'll fall victim to arthritis if he keeps going on like this.... Villa 2.0 :troll:

He's never been fragile. It's just age catching up with him, it has nothing to do with his strength.

No. What I'm saying is... He always gets injured even when he wasn't old. He's the player with the most number of injuries in Barca. If you check his injury list. It's so long as if it's a grocery list. lol

Grande (assistant ESP): "It'll be very difficult for Puyol to be at World Cup. We didn't yet rule him out, but he'll need to play more" [lx]

Puyol to play his last World Cup this summer :worthy:

I think only Bartra should be ahead of Puyol in the pecking order. Inigo Martinez is having an off season and the other option for VdB is Albiol. I think Del Busque has enough brain to pick Puyol ahead of Albiol.
