Puyol... I don't know what to say.
Everything that has a beginning has an end... and it will be a sad day when you leave Barcelona.

A lot of people on this forum have been saying he's old, he's always injured, he's done but MES QUE UN CLUB. If there is a player who embodies that it's Puyol. Anytime he takes the pitch I have always felt safe no matter who we were playing. It will be a long time before anybody brings his kind of spirit to our team and I will enjoy every last minute of Puyol in a FC Barcelona kit.

i think everything i am feeling has already been said in this thread but i still have to leave a comment...

- one of the greatest defenders of all time IMO. out of the players i have been lucky enough to watch during my lifetime he is right up there with Maldini, Nesta, Zanetti etc

- heart, courage, leadership, loyalty, strength, skill...he had it all...

He is one of the greatest.Barca the last decade has had some amazing players but there was no question who would be the leader. Dinho,Deco,Etoo,Henry,Xavi,Iniesta,Messi and there wasn't even a contest who would wear the armband.
