You're right. I couldn't remember so I double checked the official site....

Captain Carles Puyol has signed a new contract this morning with FC Barcelona. It ties him to the club until June 30, 2013. That is an extension of three years on his current contract with Barça.

i think it's nut meg in english..

puyol let ronaldo know from early on his presence with a sliding tackle..
ronaldo really looked scared from puyol...

btw didnt puyol already signed an extension during the season?
