Him and de jong must have been playing with the Barca B players, because all the best players for the youth team is away with their international team, so whoever is left bar a few are nothing players.

They say he was very physically in the game, he looks fear in the eyes and fear blinked first.

There’ve been times in training sessions when Gavi *needed* to be stooped. “He’s been like a bull” is what sources within the club are suggesting. He’s also a lot more muscular and stronger now, after intense workouts.
In training, Gavi played alongside Frenkie in the pivot - but further ahead/up-front, he’s done a lot more damage comparatively.

Flick tests him in double pivot together with Frenkie. He aim's for this lineup probably:

---------------Woj
Kounde-Araujo-Cubarsi-Balde
---------Gavi---Frenkie
Lamine--Olmo/Pedri--Rapha
--------------Lewy

I think this lineup in form can win any title.

Yea that's the double Pivot I think most thought would start the season, but with injuries, casado and pedri has done a great job there, so it will be hard to dislodge them.

Gavi is competing with Pedri, so that will be difficult for them both as they both offer something different.

On paper de jong should have a easier time getting into the team, but that's only on paper, casado is a much better DM

But it's never a bad thing to have options and versatility,
Olmo
Pedri
Gavi
Raphinha
De jong ( to a lesser extent)

Gives us that.

PS to the surprise of absolutely no one, gavi hasn't been "scared" even after such a terrible injury.

The positive news for Barcelona is that they will receive a little over €6.92m from FIFA in compensation for the injury to Gavi. That is according to MD, who detail that should Gavi be given the medical green light to play, then they will hit that figure in their compensation, as he was injured on international duty.

Laporta after this to the team: "If anyone of you plans to tear his acl, wait for the int break please."

Could have been Tuna, two birds with one stone and first time he could prove useful since we bought him - but he had to go and miss NT

Imagine the rotations they can make in midfield soon. Nobody can match that without a loss in quality.

One game FDJ/Gavi/Pedri
Next game Casado/Pedri/Olmo
Weak team Casado/Gavi/Fermin
Ultimate Big game FDJ/Pedri/Olmo
