6 - Gavi

Decent game.

Mainly recycling possession and not offering much in final third.

Ok ball in for goal that Fermin managed to get on end of and put up in air.

Far from 'incredible' at all but better again.

It's him or Fermin for that gala 11th spot. Suppose it will depend on opponents and we will see Gavi with Pedri and Frankie against Atletico next week.

Pretty sure it will be Gavi. He's miles clear of Fermin even if he's a liability in deeper positions due to his agility (after the injury) right now.

Gavi absolutely is not miles clear of Fermin this season.

Maybe he can be and Flick will try to play him back in but Fermin was the better and more effective of the two again today.. albeit Gavi was on the left.

Other option is Raphinha AM and Torres LW/AM

Although Torres is the most effective of the three off the bench so there is an argument for Gavi/Fermin to run them and Torres to come off the bench v tired legs.

Relax, he didn't play for a year. Let him find his rhythm, give him a good pre-season and he'll be back on track. BS to compare him to Fati. He moves like before over the pitch, just his output is missing, which is normal if you lose your match rhythm.
