7 - Ferran Torres

Horatio

You're welcome
That was one of the biggest WTF moments I'd seen recently in football. A good space to dribble ahead of Ferran and suddenly he decides at half-way line to cross a full power ball to MATS like he is the primary playmaker of Barca.

It's not the first time something similar has happened. I remember another game where we were starting a counter and then player on the right side decided to pass it back. I can't remember which game. Like 6/7 ago.

Yeah, I remember that episode. Can't tell who it was, hope it wasn't Ferran.

Known pattern for disaster:
-buy slow player to play winger
-buy player who can't dribble to play winger
-buy player who is not proven on top level for 60mil
-not buying him when he was avaliable for 20mil

This guy's gh is Luis Enrique's daughter ?

Dude knows how to play the game of thrones.

He knows how to play his balls

Some players know how to play ball

What's the difference? Only one letter and technically if you play two balls, that makes you more talented than guys who can handle only one. So Torres wins the Game of Thrones.

Ball is in your corner, but Torres has two. Checkmate.

So typical. We could have sold him for a profit instead we lose 40mil. Same with Enzo and the City forward. Market opportunities we don't take early on.

Yes, his low confidence is obvious. I don't think he's as bad player as his performances have been this season.

Hopefully the club will help him because like it or not he'll be here until at least the end of the season and I hope we'll get at least something useful out of him in that time. Will also be easier to sell him (if we decide to) if he'll show some flashes of good form in next months.

Andre Gomes 2.0

We just need the crowd to booooo him a few times and oofffff he'll leave

HOPE.

Nah, I'm not a fan of booing the youngsters who are struggling for form. It's not like he's intentionally playing bad or not trying.

Instead the fans should boo the shit out of our beloved captain (won't happen I know) so he won't even think about renewing.

Emotional state? Now I've hear'd it all - fuck off Torres. This is not kindergarten, you got bought for 60 mil and you suck ass - so gtfo!

Well, that's not his fault.

He's just not cut out for it at the top level. The transfer to City was low risk, high reward for him. He went for 20 million and played half his games in empty stadiums, also knowing full well he wasn't a starter.

At Barcelona he's bought for 3 times the amount, during times of financial insecurity and is the first big money transfer. The pressure is too much for his abilities.

He's already played 5 more games for Barca then he did at City when the club decided to spend big on him.

How did he managed to feature both in Spain nt and Barcelona?
He has no talent whatsoever.
Lost the ball a million times causing counters.
Didn't complete a single dribble.
Can't score on empty net.
Can't pass and go properly.
Only good actions were the offside (lucky to be there anyway) and the pass for Fati's backheel atemt.
Useless player and replacing Dembele of all people with him is mind boggling.

Ferran Torres has now gone 584 minutes without providing an assist, 369 minutes without scoring and 267 minutes without a shot on target.

65m.
