Ferran doesn't have Pedro's speed, technique, passing, grit, dribbling. He can finish (sometimes) and that's it.

Ferran is embarrassment of a footballer for a stature of club like Barca.

His skillset is extremely limited.

Ferran is better this season than Pedro in 14/15.

Pedro is the better player.

Keep simping for worse players like Gavi and LDJ.

The way some others act is the real 'embarrasement'.

Pedro got shat on here quite a bit for his performances during the 2014/15, especially that time frame where Suarez was still banned and couldn't play until the October Classico.

Heck there was a time Lucho was giving guys like Munir/Sandro chances ahead of Pedro because he wasn't playing good enough. Pedro was a great player for us but his 2014/15 for large stretches was pretty bad by his standards.

Exactly he barely had one memorable game.

Didnt score in CL and got one assist past group stages not even playing more than 70 mins in knock outs.

In Cup he got 4 of his 11 goals that season v lower league sides and barely featured past the last 16.

In league he was average and mainly played against the shite teams until league done and Barca hammered those teams due who was available of MSN.

Love Pedro as all Barca fans do but can easily name multiple more games to win points and ties that Ferran has this season that Pedro did not then.

He's only 25, I don't think he'll ever be world class but he can be a very servicable backup / help us with Lewy while we try to figure out a long term starter over the next couple years.

I was watching Lazio a couple weeks ago and was shocked to see Pedro playing for them. I thought he had retired. He still looked pretty quick for being old.

Very happy with him this season. He has 13 goals for 1127 mins played. That's more than 1 goal / 90 mins played. That's what you want to see from a quality squad player. Yes, we paid a bit too much for a squad role, but that's football, many teams have 50-60m signings that fulfill squad roles.
