The Catalan press do appear very confident in this deal taking place. Hopefully we won't look like fools again

I don't understand the reports are always contradicting each other. One day they report the deal is done and coutinho will sign in a week and the other they report Klopp dosen't agree to sell no matter the price don't know what to belive anymore.

We keep hearing about how Klopp refuses to sell and everything except Klopp isn't the ultimate authority on whether this transfer happens. The Catalan press seem very confident. I'm still circumspect given the press over here in the UK are not fully on board with the story yet.

I can' believe it, even 100mio for this player is a joke.

So having 130M more in the bank account and continuing with the same midfield like last year is the better option? Good idea, lets waste another year at the expense of prime Messi just because Coutinho costs ~59% of our transfer income.

Coutinho is a very intelligent football player, makes quick decisions, can play two positions in our system and is possibly the "as close it can get Iniesta successor".

Liverpool are in a pretty bad situation. Their market activity is already perceived in a poor light by supporters as it is and their fans are supposed to digest selling their best player too? We must be generous in order to take Coutinho and it is fair in my opinion.

IMO, they've been chasing van Dijk the same way, even for a longer time, so they can only be hypocrites right now, both players want to leave, they have to accept some way that they can't tie him up to the radiator.

Plus he's a permanent threat for the opposition due to his great shot. Will score far more goals than Iniesta. Watched him many times over the last few years with Liverpool. Perfect Player for Barca.

Coutinho said he won't force them to sell him though, so it isn't like what Bale did at all.

If a deal happens, as somebody said above, they will milk us dry (130M).

Still no news from english side.
