7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

Coutinho would fix many things, the fact that we won't just jump to beat real immediately is something else, we couldn't beat real after starting with Suarez despite lining up MSN in the first ever match, but 1 year later we destroyed them on Bernabeu, and yeah, they were using this midfield, and yeah, no Messi in the first hour.

Neymar was out of this world during that period!

Yeah, for sure, 'cause Liverpool would defeat the best team in Europe. Relax, breathe and think before speaking/writing/reading/seeing.
What ever, let him join the sinking ship

he's probably regretting giving the transfer request.

LOL. Not necessarily.

After today especially, it's obvious we need to evolve and Coutinho will see himself as part of that.

Yes it's true we've lost our Aura of invincibility, but we can still attract the best players in the world.

When we were fucking them left and right not too long ago, Madrid were still able to attract elite players.

That's what we need to do now. Get quality players in and remove the garbage while we're at it.

We need to spend to compete.

I agree, our squad is in a miserable state, but still light years ahead of Liverpool. We are still top 5 in Europe, and Coutinho could be the creativity, hunger and momentum we need right now; add a future star in French Dembélé and a Paulinho willing to give everything he has to prove himself, we stand a decent chance of lifting our level.

The problem is a general lack of quality throughout the entire squad; Coutinho and Dembélé are both quality. That is bound to have a positive ripple effect.

I like your positive attitude. We would see what happens in the next weeks but my expectations are low, very low. Hope this mess gives the players the hunger again like you said, but this is not the first time we saw this considered the PSG and Juve humiliation last season. Those 2 players would be a great addition to the squad so we have to hope they can bring them so fast as possible.

Segura to TV3 (Catalan media) after tonight's game:

‘Coutinho and Dembele are both close,’ said Segura.
‘We are hopeful that they will end up wearing the Barca shirt.
‘Until deals are closed I can’t say anything. We know we have to help the team and reinforce it and that’s what we’re doing.’

Looking great, along with the claims from Kicker that there hasn't been any contact with BVB for 9 days.

But hey, Paulinho passed his medical and is signing the contract in an hour or two, :neymar::neymar:

Yann Orhan is a smart man.

Capitalizing on this crazy summer window to generate followers and traffic to his twitter.

Can't blame a man for taking advantage of a good opportunity.

After all not smart at all, he deleted the tweets and changed his name so you can't look him up with Yann Orhan hahaha

Who on earth are you describing ?!?

It sure as he'll isn't the Couthino I've been admiring for the last two years . ... You're simply coming across as bitter and twisted .

I've been following him since his Inter days. One could see he had a huge potential. That was apparent. However, one of the main downsides about him that has always bugged me was his inconsistency. Liverpool took him in at 20. And its been what, 5 years since? And it is still one of his main weaknesses. Of course when he's on form, he looks amazing. However his "run of form" usually consists of a couple of matches where he looks unstoppable, another match where he looks pretty good, and another where he picks up a knock and has to be sidelined for a couple of games, and then he comes back and looks frustratingly average for about 4-5 games, rinse repeat. And then you watch his youtube "compilations" and he's made to look like a god and people think he plays like that all the time.

BTW, bitter and twisted? You're having a laugh, mate. I'd take that 130m and run if I was FSG. The only transfer I'm bitter about is Suarez's. If it wasn't for him purposefully biting Chiellini, you'd have to pay us a lot more than 75m for him. And Real wouldn't have abruptly ended their interest either.
