haha so is that what your basing your argument on??? Oscar has been playing non stop since the summer Olympics! and at Chelsea he has been playing out of position on the wing! and has been very very impressive playing out of position! If you have watched Oscar this season you would know how good he is! Oscar will be Brazil's first choice number 10 in the WC. Fact. Coutinho wont get a look in with Oscar in the team! Coutinho has played as a number 10 at a crap team where they look to give him the ball all the time to create and he has still only got 2 goals and 4 assists in a team where he is the only real creative player! at Chelsea they have Mata and Hazard who are the go to guys who they look for to create chances! Thats why Oscar is always one of Brazil's best players when he plays for them because he is one of their players they look for to create chance and i guarantee in the WC Oscar will be Brazil's main man along with Lucas Moura.

They don't even play the same position though... I think Oscar would be best as a CM, while Coutinho is clearly an CAM. They can both be on the pitch at the same time.

but Oscar's played 20 more games in a much better team and has the same stats as him
yeah exactly in a better team where they have more than one creative player! you do realise its alot easier to look good when surrounded by crap/average players especially when you are the only creative player in that team as well! and as i said Oscar has been playing out of position as well! put Coutinho in the Chelsea or City team and he would be average at best! Mikel had him in his back pocket in the Chelsea - Liverpool game! thats why he got subbed off!
Oscar has played well against teams like Arsenal, Man U, Tottenham, Juventus, Shakhtar and Liverpool! Coutinho plays well against a crap Newcastle team and is suddenly better than Oscar and should play for Brazil!!!

Oscar is average at the most. He's nowhere near Lucas or Neymar concerning both his performances and his talent. Can't say much about Coutinho though.

haha! Neymar is average at most! every time Oscar and Neymar play for Brazil Oscar always plays better! and Lucas cant even get into the first team for Brazil! enough said.

Oh, come on, Oscar is a great CM. He isn't that creative of a player, or a winger unlike what Benitez thinks but he is one of the top young CMs in the world, right up there with Thiago, Wilshere, and Veratti.

"Looking" good compared to your teammates and "being" good as in being an influence on actual results are two different things though. And wouldn't it make sense that if he had better players to play with, he'd be better not worse?

He outshone Neymar vs England, I think all 3 players are looking fantastic, Brazil could be quite the force for the 2018 world cup.

no if coutinho was in the same team as someone like Mata, Gotze, Silva or Iniesta do you think Coutinho would be the main guy in the team? of course not! he looks like the type of player who needs to be the main creator to play at his best, unlike Oscar who is more versatile and can still do a good job playing out wide or at CM.

exactly nor would Oscar but i guarantee Oscar would have a bigger impact than Coutinho would playing with any them because Oscar is a more versatile and complete player than Coutinho.
