Is this really the sort of player you spend 150 Million on? He'll give you more dribbles and long shots but that's about it... Bare in mind last year was his best season by a country mile too.
The obsession with Coutinho is baffling.

I'm a little skeptical about signing Coutinho but he can seriously add some threat on our left side, Iniesta wont have to move too wide as well. Saying he's worse than Denis Suarez is abit far fetched, I still think Coutinho has more quality and physicality and pace. He's almost like a downgraded version of Neymar but who is able to play more effectively and suit a Barca system more like Sanchez. I'll still take him any day and 150 mil seems fair enough in today's crazy market.

You can post all the stats you like about Coutinho. He is just not worth that much money and this obsession with signing him is nonsensical.

Only PSG would be crazy enough to pay 150M for 26 year old, our last offer was 80M plus add-ons, so no there near this 150M mark which was invented by Catalan media anyway.

I've always maintained that Coutinho is brilliant on his day, like this past weekend and I didn't say he is worse than Denis. My point is how can you pay 150 Million for a player with the output of a younger guy that doesn't get any minutes.
If we're to compare Coutinho and Neymar or consider him a replacement then it is a significant downgrade and best we stay clear.

Blatant lie. Barcelona's final offer in the summer including add ons totalled 130 Million. Why would Liverpool now want to sell him for less?
