He wont be announced before Liverpool/Everton though. So unlikely to be announced today.

The 84% of revenue that gets bandied about is merely inclusive of renewal bonuses and new player wages. Should be remembered that Suarez (probably falls in prior year), Messi and Neymar were renewed. The latter's disputed bonus is in all likelihood included as a contigency as well. It's these renewal bonuses and an increase in player amortisations that have skewed things a bit. Cash flow would have taken a hit but in subsequent years things are bound to settle with or without outgoing players.

Is revenue even the right indicator? Salary and amortization costs football + other are "just" 66% of total income. I don't know much about the financial sector, just wondering.

I'm not sure how serious the rumours about Griezmann really are. The only journalist reporting about it is Guasch and as far as I know he is not the most reliable one.

I’m confident this will happen as all of the Liverpool talking heads and a majority of reporters who were saying it wasn’t going to happen have all switched stances and are saying it’s going to. I imagine over the next couple days we’ll get an announcement. Hopefully he doesn’t fail his physical because of his current injury.
