If we accept to pay now and get him in the summer we should pay less. Otherwise, there's no point to wait. 160 is too much as it is, even if we get him now. If we get him in the summer it's not a very good deal. And if he gets injured in EPL, which can happen at any point, everything falls apart for him.

If he pushes to come now, we should push as well. Liverpool has no reason to wait considering the player just doesn't want to play for them anymore, and is willing to give up his own money to leave.

Who says he's coming in summer? He clearly wants to come now and the money involved which is the most important factor says he will come now, agents are pushing for it hard

actually, barca offered 140m£ but liverpool wanted 160m£ (180m euro) but the player is willing to pay 15m euro from his pocket so the deal can be sealed.

the journalist who reported 140m+40m variables was right..

DO NOT FALL for Liverpool's proganda machine. They will do everything in their power to convince their fanbase that the club is doing everything to retain Coutinho when in reality they know they've lost the battle.

It's all LIES.

This is so that in the end they can claim the club did everything to keep him and couldn't do more.

SAD!

The only way for him to leave them now is by creating a fuss. Liverpool is willing to do anything (pay rise, lower transfer fee in summer) in order to keep him until summer. I understand them because Coutinho was on fire in recent months and he would be massive in the race for the CL spot and the knockout-games. However, Coutinho made up his mind and is out of Liverpool with his head. Difficult situation.

Coutinho's representatives are already in Barcelona to finish close multi-million-dollar transfer of Brazilian to Barcelona. [tw]949625978548051969[/tw]

This is what I expected to be honest. It makes no sense for Liverpool to allow him to leave.

That they’re entertaining the idea makes me believe that they made him a promise and are obligated to facilitate the move.
