I haven't seen enough of him to judge properly, so how is he at shielding and protecting the ball under heavy pressure? Is he even somewhat comparable to Iniesta in that department? I know he'll bring the end product that Iniesta rarely does, but I feel ball retention is super important, if we're to cut down on turnovers against us.

He is good. He won't fall down like Neymar under the slightest touch.
Doesn't try clownish tricks. A smart player. Can shield a ball well.
And deadly AF.

One user already posted this earlier today, but I'll post it again.
Sit down and enjoy:

A pure magic.

Pretty much says only something drastic can prevent the signing and announcement of Coutinho. and the second part sounds like We have/coutinho? been waiting all summer for this to happen.

Nope, I found a translation, it basically says that he's flying from Vigo to Barcelona and that only with bad luck the announcement can be made while he's flying. He seems upset that he isn't at Barcelona while the announcement is made.

Other than Messi Coutinho is the best 'No10' in the world and can play various positions as well as that.

Can dribble, pass and is an intelligent player. He also works hard off the ball to defend.

He is going to be sensational.

Man, 110 users browsing this thread right now, this thread is generating as much traffic right now as the end of the Neymar saga did.

It was the same in the summer the last transfer window day, everyone was waiting for Coutinho announcement and then we hear that we made a 40M bid for Di Maria, god I hope that won't happen again.
