There was so much drama about last night. One legend from Liverpool departs, and another prodigy comes in.

One Spanish legend comes off to make way for his heir apparent.

The former Espanyol man, dreaming of playing with the GOAT after being crushed by his 4 goals in his youth, finally steps on to the pitch in the same fixture, but on the other side.

You can't make this stuff up! Anybody have nice picture collage or something of the sort capturing these things?

Edit: couldn't find one, so just stitched one together!

I came twice when ha came in.. Pause.

Barca Dna approved by Xavi9001.

Can only lament the fact that we panic-bought Dembélé instead of him, be it due to our short-handed offer or the hardheadedness of Liverpool.
You are just irritating . Dembelle is a 20 year old raw talent and comparing him with a 25 year old player who has played in Pl shows how big a dumbass you are . Can you please fuck off with your anti Dembelle posts .

Some Barca fans are just the worst, he will be great for us but he did nothing for everyone to be pissing themselves about.

The only thing this game showed is that he is much more of a natural midfielder than dembele which didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out

Good first step, can't wait for everyone to be fit and well integrated our attack will be mouth wateringly good.

Great debut, looks good on the ball but he definitely can learn a thing or two from the Don, especially on vision and passing. He's more aggressive and direct like Messi but as a midfielder, he needs to be visionary and precise. He's definitely no Iniesta, but would like to see him improve and learn the ropes.

He proved to be the second best player in the team in 25 minutes. It doesn't take a rocket science to figure that out either.

It was like playing with two no. 10's dropping in midfield to help, in fact plenty of times Messi was having cup of tea, relaxing reminiscing on what it was like to be a forward, and it was coutinho in charge of creation and pulling the strings. What a weight off his shoulders.

I mean this was such a classy performance if ever seen one.

He is better than Iniesta. In this moment in time.

the problem, most users here like some (Total-Football) are the troll of the web. They are not even fans of Barça

Easy now, both different types of players, cant really compare them. Clearly Iniesta is much more visionary with better ball control, while Coutinho is more pacey, agressive and direct attacking. Obviously, Iniesta's age has caught up and his output has lessened over the years but still some things are still there for us to witness even after all these years.

He's actually very similar to Neymar but a more effective version of him. Clear examples are when he ran down the left flank and provided the ball to Suarez. He is more like a winger/midfield hybrid but he is definitely no Iniesta. He still can learn from Iniesta, but probably wont be as good as him in terms of midfield dominance.

Total also believed Barça were doomed without Neymar, that he was more vital for us than Messi and that offloading Messi instead of Neymar would have been better.

He's just insecure about the thought of Dembélé doing well as he's replaced his one and true love that left the club through the back door like a cunt after trying to extort more money from us.

Ignore and move on. You cannot fight fanboyism as it's devoid of any logic.

Some I suppose have legitimate concerns about Dembélé, he definitely has an agenda due to Neymar.

Already can say he suit us better than Neymar. Petty we couldn't get him during the summer transfer window.

Did nothing to piss themselves about? He had one of the best debut's you'll see.

So did Chygrynskiy... For a full 90 minutes...

I don't expect Coutinho to end up like him but it would be good idea to lay off the hyperbole.
