So, Valverde is saying that he wants to use Coutinho at 5 positions. The two outside positions up front in the 4-3-3, and all midfield positions except Busi's in the 4-4-2 and 4-3-3.

Maybe EV believes we already have a good left wing when Messi and Alba link well. The problem is the right wing; so he's basically trying his every best player at RW, first Dembele then Coutinho.

you could easily see that he's not used to the rhythm of the game. from the roller-coaster style of the premier league to the possession based barca style it will take some time to adapt.
