I think this fallacy that Liverpool are better without Coutinho should be put to bed as well.
This Liverpool got to the CL Final thanks to sheer hard work and the front three of Salah-Firmino-Mane.
But outside the three they don't have a difference maker at all. and it showed today once Salah had to come off. Coutinho before he left was that creative force behind them in the Midfield he was the guy who helped create and linked up in the Midfield with the front three and the only press resistant midfielder and he also contributed a lot of long range goals as well.
Liverpool fans in general completely underestimated just how much they missed him. He was replaced by a couple of Hard working Midfielders that while they worked hard had nowhere near the World Clas ability Coutinho has and you need it against a team like Real.
Reminds me back when Suarez left them. Some of them were talking about how they didn't need Suarez and they had the likes of Sterling and Sturridge and at the time Balotelli who just signed. Suarez was a total monster for them especially in the 2013/14 season dude had that mentality that motivated the team and got them places they haven't been to in years and nearly won the EPL.
