Aye. Kloppo didn't frankly use him as an AM all that much until he had to somehow keep Salah streak going and fit Mane on the pitch together with him as to not nullify their maximum input. Cou was always that LCAM/LW guy who didn't like to drop too far deep because it would ultimately take away his acceleration advantage given his top-speed in space isn't all that huge. He was usually glued to that mid-range in the opponents half where he could do a one or two take-ons cutting inside akin to Robben types. Most of his career he played as a winger though, whether that meant he fit the mould of a speedy winger or not.

we should of just got Hazard to replace Neymar like for like. instead we bought a raw 21 y.o with attitude issues and Coutinho who just doesn't fit in any formation we play.. and then theres Malcom, fuck knows where he fits in all this

just that currently, where the heck does he play?

people complain about lack of pace yet we cant play him in midfield either apparently. where does he fit in considering Leo and Suarez must play.. hes too slow to play LM in a 442, LW in a 433 with Messi, Suarez and Coutinho is also slow.

Yeah we legit could have had that, solving the Coutinho and Dembele problem while integrating youth players easily.

My thoughts exactly now that I re-watched some highlights. And yes Hazard is a much better player than Coutinho right now and also much more consistent than Coutinho.
