nothing happens, he is with a mediocre trainer.
Soon, Valverde will make it a battle horse.

Brazilians burn out extremely early compared to others like Ronaldinho. Coutunho has suffered some very serious injuries which has effected his pace it may be possible he is already on the decline like Ronaldinho was after his lifestyle and injuries took their toll. It is too eelty to say anything definitive though but it is worrying.
masterclass in trolling.
The only player I'd say have improved considerably under Valverde is Alba, but he's playing with a chip on his shoulder this season after Lucho has discarded him from the Spanish NT.
Everyone else are still stuck where they were or have regressed.
It's a worrying trend.

The only player with the ability to turn crap situations into either chances to score goals or straight up goals is Messi. The other players need a system that puts them into favorable situations, and from there they can make a difference. Nothing other than Messi does that at Barcelona. The system that should come from the manager is a complete void without any ideas.
Ah yes now if only we didn't win every single game without Messi lol
Iniesta improved, Rakitic too, as well as Alba even last season before Lucho was Spain coach
Rakitic improved when playing centrally with Busquets in a 4-4-2 where he had a very limited role. Still got stripped naked like the rest in games with a higher intensity where he needed to do more than defend and pass the ball to the first player available.
Ok but compared to Lucho's last season it was an improvement no?
He was benched during Lucho's last season. He hasn't reached his 2014/15 and 2015/16 heights or gotten anywhere close to that. Was a lot more dynamic those seasons.
