Clearly frustrated with himself.

Sign of a true champion.

Can't wait until he hits form again!

what the hell does world class even mean?

he's a starter for Brazil, he was an impactful player for liverpool, and is a starting player for Barcelona, that's world class in my opinion

unless you mean top 5 or some bullshit lol

Can't judge before this season is over but if he continues to suck then we should consider selling him to an EPL team. I'm sure we could get at least 120m for him. Chelsea and Arsenal would be interested.

Hazard and Eriksen both will have only one year lift on their contracts and could be sold for around 100-120m

I always expect him to step up his game when Messi is absent but he can't convince me. Very joable style of play with some moments of magic and than he dissappears for some time. Wondering what EV told him how he needs to play and in which position because I want him more involved with the build up.

Fans are just too fickle. When Coutinho was doing very well last season people called him "the best Brazilian player", "who the hell is Neymar" and now when he is not doing well (for whatever reason) he is a "dumb and moronic player" who "flops no matter what position he plays".

The same thing happened to Dembele. When he was not doing well, people trashed him so much and look what they are doing now.

For a player of his age and experience, he is mentally very weak. Today was his worst performance. Needs to regain his confidence quick, we'll need him for the Champions League.

who is going to buy him for 100mil+ though? PSG could but won't. United cant spend that type of money on one player, City don't need him, Madrid is a no-no, Juve.. nope. Liverpool return is possible but nowhere near the 100mil figure (before someone brings up 70mil for a CB VVD - that was money from Coutinho sale). Chelsea seem tight on money also

no idea what Barto was thinking paying all that money AND in January also.. fucking bizarre

Honestly if you ask me, I'd even sell him for €90m. Coutinho will be 27 in a few months. We bought him when he was 25. At 25 a player is young and can progress a lot. 25 years old Coutinho was a great player in PL and I still knew that he'll have to progress considerably to fit in at Barça (midfield).
No he'll be 27 and he's just a weak player who didn't progress as he should have. And you won't see any progression under a coach like a Valverde or whatever future clown that Barça's board will bring on as new coach.

As a winger, he's isn't even as good as Tello and Cuenca were imo and I'm not even joking. He'll never be good enough or a great winger for Barça.
As a CM, there's a loooot of work to be done and we simply don't have the right people at the club who could do this work.

We just have to take the L and move forward. If it means that Barça will lose money, then so be it.

At 27 he should be in his prime. Perhaps a new coach will figure out a place for him. He's just not a winger. Even if he played as a winger for Liverpool, it wasn't like this. He played deeper and had a lot more space in front of him. All his best games at Barca have either been as a wide midfielder in 4-4-2 or as an attacking midfielder.
