What you see on this thread is varying degrees of trolling.
I think Barca are taking the piss a bit/the board's usual incompetent selves.
All they needed to do was offer up to 100 million with a high percentage of the fee paid up front (they've paid 40 for shite in Paulinho yet they've only offered 80 for Coutinho). Instead they've offered 80 to be paid in instalments and add ons which will only be reached if Barca win titles or Coutinho wins the Ballon D'or (neither are going to happen). They've annoyed Liverpool like they annoyed Southampton.
If Barca want Coutinho come back in with a serious bid. There's no way Liverpool would turn down a fee close to 120 million but Barca haven't offered that. They've offered a much lower fee with impossible bonuses on top.
Barca couldn't afford Coutinho before the Neymar deal. Now Liverpool know they've got 225 miliion in their account.

Exactly we've done to the same for Van Dijk too - it's the name of the game. Which we all accept.
It's how it is being done that I find funny - not even mad but genuinely funny. I've no doubts have this been June 20th and not August 20th Coutinho would be off. But it is Barca's misfortune that we have bumbling idiots in charge of transfers (Klopp aside) so we haven't got anyone in apart from Salah.
So really unless its a too good to turn down offer which I think is around the £130m figure then it's tough shit on you and Coutinho.
Say, if we offer 110m flat + 20m bonuses that are reachable (30 games played), will LFC accept it?
Because if they are, why didn't Barca board do it yet?
