He's iniesta with about 20% less touch by the football gods.

What a player.

Panda has the technical ability to tiki taka and create beautiful football but no teammates around him to do it plus a coach instructing him to Bayern it.

I'll never agree ends (results) justify the means.

Gravenberch has not been 'carrying' the midfield.

He has been good but as is so often the way a new face performing well and gets more credit.

Best ball control in Europe right now. This is with his left foot.

In 2-3 years when he reaches his absolute peak, new coach can bring the most out of him.

What I like even more than his outstanding performances is how he's becoming a leader of this team. We're watching him evolve from a boy with world class talent to spine of the midfield, reliable man who experiences big responsibility for how the team performs this season.

This was part of his contract renewal, he mentioned it in one interview not long ago. Deco promised him to be one of the leaders of this project.

It's good to finally have a guy in midfield who you can fully rely on, who you know would give everything for the badge, who you know wants to do big things for the club and who works on it in every game with his performances.

That is why I'm not too concerned even if we don't win big this season. We have Pedri who is evolving into a legendary midfielder, we have world class talents in Lamine, Bernal and Cubarsi, we have an experienced hard working footballer in Raphinha, many more and we will fill other positions with great players in the summer as well. Most importantly, we also have a proper coach who maximizes the potential of his players and offers no excuses for losing. Titles will inevitably come soon.

I thought his level has been so superlative that his teammates have actually been repeatedly letting him down, either failing to convert or make the most of a key pass. Here, it surprised me against Rayo that none of Lamine, Lewy or Raphinha were able to capitalize

He’s been in incredible form, I hope Pablo Torre will increasingly receive even mop up minutes because we would lose a lot if he were to be unavailable in the business end of the season…more so since Olmo has been unable to get some rhythm or consistency

We have yet to peak this season IMHO, moments of greatness but not all players clicking at same time. I hope Flick is drilling into the team that there is another level they still need to get to

Very good video and this guy knows ball.

Nothing can beat the eye test.

The big worry for all our Barcelona players is those feckin International games end of March, which being a Nations League KO round, De Le Fuente will play all his starters. So Pedri, Lamine, Olmo and potentially Cubarsi.

Different loads, different intensities and methods for a week and then back to Barca.

That's what could fuck up our season given the fixture load from now till Munich ( ;) ).
