Yea subs were a total waste, not 1 player has there heart or mind in this.

They just wanted to play out a draw or 1 goal loss, but due to araujo and Tek that wasn't possible

Anyway, plenty to improve on still but it was expected... we are a long way from subordonating our opponents at will. But with some inspiration at the right moments we still have some fire left in CL.

Was a little bit more intent on creating threat but it came at the cost of questionable passing, especially towards the end. Fatigue clearly hitting him. Defensively though the effort was appreciated, always willing to be a body to a counter or prevent a cross. Undeniably improved defensively.

Very good second half, he missed a dribble and overplayed a pass to Olmo, other than that he was his usual controlling the game self. Don't know what you dudes are talking about, you are too critical. He will never be as dominant when he plays together with De Jong as he doesn't have the ball as much. That was always going to be the case.

Pedri himself says the opposite and that he gets ball more than with others when FDJ there.

His most dominant games overall have been with FDJ.

Played without him a week ago and was far worse and less of an impact than today for example.

You just have to watch the game to see it, he is still making forward runs without the ball now and then to drag opposition players apart but he doesn't have the ball as much in forward areas as he used to.

I disagree

I agree he was really bad then but had more to being overplayed than not having De Jong by his side. No doubt Barca as a Team gains on having De Jong and Pedri side by side than not though. Despite their two blunders today.

Pedri wasnt dominating last week without FDJ. He wasnt in the away win over Ateltico in league.. then did dominate them in cup with De Jong etc.

Pedris influence got worse in midweek when FDJ moved to AM.. the ten mins or so prior was the most control Barca had in that match with them together. Both vanished when Flick changed it later on really.

Pedri got better v Real Madrid away when FDJ came on. Got better in games v Benfica, Getafe and Alaves once FDJ came on etc.

Pedri got a ton of the ball today and in good areas.. on him if didnt do more with it.

Pedri is BdO for me. If it happens, it happens.

Roamed the whole area today linking up with Inigo and Cubarsi, falling deep at times. Complete playmaker.

You are right.
I noticed he was forced to take on the deeper pivot role between the 2 CDs (in addition to being the only creative outlet) when our blonde brother was stinking up the joint there.
