8 - Pedri

Olmo is in the box far more than Pedri and takes a much bigger % of touches in final third.

Pedri spends majority of time in middle third and not deep into final third either as shown with touches in box etc.

The touches of Pedri are much more alike to Casado or FDJ than they are to Olmo at AM.

Yeah that's pretty much what I am trying to say. Good post.

The heat maps dont lie... they show exactly as would expect.

Pedri spends majority of game in middle third and has twice as many touches in middle third as final third.

Within the final third Pedri is still fairly conservative with how deep he goes with about x4 less touches in box than likes of Olmo and nowhere near one of Barca players with most touches in box either and 'half a touch' more in box than likes of Frenkie per game.

When look at FDJ/Pedri and Casado their touches in defensive third are not all that different and in middle to final third Pedri goes forward a bit more but not getting into box or far into final third.

Relax. Why so aggressive?

Because

1. you talk too much.

2. You saw the heat map and said nonsense about it, talking about the system pushed him higher and number 10, when I said nothing about number 10 or his position in general simply resented a heat map as to where he spends his time on the field, then you spoke about the system we are playing pushing him higher, but if you compares his heat map to olmo you immediately see the difference and it doesn't matter what an alternative universe heatmap would have showed, because flick is our coach and that how he's playing.

So you you were talking nonsense, pause before you reply next time.

That was a wild claim from Liverpool fans that one.

It was classic case of players who are not massively rated getting blown up and over rated as others think they go unnoticed.

Good player mind but never Pedri level or close.

Olmo is not better than Pedri but the claims that 'Olmo does nothing better than Pedri' are just as much over the top the other way.

Olmo could be the best AM in world when fit.. and may well be and still isnt as good as Pedri.. and thats not a knock on Olmo.
