Seen some rumors popping up on Twitter, that Pep wants Suarez at City. But it seems like they were sourcing the (Mirror).

Of course I go onto the Bluemoon, forums and some of them think just because we renewed Neymar, we will have to sell Suarez. and if their's anything truth to the rumors Pep wanting Suarez, Sorry dude He's not for sale and He doesn't want to return to England any time soon.
Didn't you know Pep wanted Messi just the other day?

The funny part of these rumors is that they say Peps brother, Pere Guardiola has spent months trying to convince Suarez to move to City and they state Suarez is convinced! but you will have to convince his wife to move.

Not the first time these rumors have appeared. I remember even before Pep confirmed to be the new city manager Pep, wanted to bring Suarez to City.

As of this month, we're good money wise. We can just get some extra dough with a shirt sponsorship if we want to.

But I'm quite sure the fans are willing to compensate for the no sponsor shirt.

Suarez said he wouldn't play for another Premiership team out of respect to Liverpool.

Not City, not Liverpool, no any other team in England. He and his wife are done with England for good.
Only team in Europe after he is finished by Barca that he would like to play is back to Ajax, Amsterdam. He have said that many times, that he want to finish his career at Ajax.

Hardly surprising. I've been to Amsterdam and it is a brilliant city and Ajax fans are very loyal and the club has great traditions :)

I had to have a look for myself. They certainly don't seem to have the firmest of grips on reality over there.

Barca wouldn't sell? Not so sure about that. They already had financial question marks before the Neymar deal and that's only been amplified. This could be Barca's last chance to maximize Suarez's value, given he's 29 and off a career defining year.

Because apparently as part of their own rules they the president has to get the wage bill down, don't fully understand it myself. But Neymars big increase means somebody has to go as I understand it.

If Barcelona are to be true to their word about balancing their books, somebody has to go. Neymar raise, surely Messi gonna get a raise to match. Spent on Umtitti I believe and in need of another mid field player and a replacement for Dani Alves. Barcas wage bill was 70% of revenue last year which is insanely high and unsustainable long term. They also want to make stadium upgrades. They gave up on Nolito because the price was ton much. Not saying they will sell but if ever there was a time to seriously consider such a move now might be the time.

Agreed, their wage situation is madness in the long term and Neymar is seemingly out of the running with the new contact. With Suarez our big problem is the player himself, he absolutely hates the English media and I wouldn't be surprised if he refused to move. Messi, coming to play with his best buddy Aguero after his tax problems in Spain might be the most likely option.

If Barca need to improve, wasn't Bellerin a target, and need the money then let's get this done

€280m in debt €100's of millions to spend on their ground as it is falling to bits and players wanting mega money contacts is the reason they are skint

Either which way, the status quo at Barca is unsustainable and they will need to generate cash somehow. Offloading Suarez for a potential record amount and removing his massive wage from the books would go a long way to that.

Sounds like we're doomed guys. I guess I'll have to give up football when we go bankrupt and become a full-time NBA fan or something :(

We do have our fair share of issues but like Bluemoon, red cafe etc (EPL Fan forums) some of those guys on those forums don't really understand some of the issues we have and completely exaggerate some of the problems we have.

to them it's all gloom and doom, due to Neymar's big contract we have to sell "Messi and Suarez or Iniesta etc" for problems to go away! the problem is they won't take the time and really read into it but believe all the stupid rumor's ITK's post and obvious poorly researched articles on the situation.
