His on-pitch antics from the past had me indifferent towards him. But it was exactly his relentless and unremitting spirit that won me over. I can't currently think of any other player who lives his heart and soul in every inch he covers. His devotion to his craft justifies every cent he earns. And he's the only footballer who make me feel that way.
His antics were always related to frustration, which is easier to get playing for shitty Liverpool.
He doesn't get frustrated here with us. Just once in a blue moon with himself, but the team manage to deal with it and he knows he is not going to be crucified like in England.
Eto'o is one of my all time favorites and Suarez is exactly like him. Hard worker and all heart. Don't know how this journey will end but maybe he will, for me, even surpas the legend of Sammy Eto'o.
(Madrid cabron chant will be hard to beat though )
Excited that Lucho will rest him 30 mins here and there when we are well ahead. Same will go for Ney. Only Leo will grind out 90 mins even if we are up 5-0 from now on! Great preservation method implemented by Lucho!
