That attack would inspire fear into all opponents if we put two of Mascherano, Busquets, Rakitic behind the CAM (Messi in that example) to be protected in case of a counter. But Liverpool wants Alexis, so Suarez + Alexis at Barcelona isn't a realistic scenario. If anything, this is more likely:

I actually like this. It means Both all of Neymar, Iniesta, and Messi can be the roaming trio. And all will be able to show their stuff playing behind a striker.

I'd be cool with a 4-2-3-1 with Iniesta on the right and Koke/Rakitic and Busquets/Mascherano (more deep) as a double pivot though Rafinha can take Koke's place if we are not able to get him.

I agree with Sumlit here. We would be able to do everything wether it's Iniesta behind Suarez and Messi on the wing or Rafinha behind Messi and Suarez on the right wing, it's all possible.
