They turned down 87M euros, because they stand by the release clause they agreed with Suarez last year : £80M (100M euros).

Apparently the deal was that if somebody offer £80M they will accept to sell him.

So far, Barcelona doesn't want to pay the £80M. And Liverpool has no obligation to sell him because the agreement with suarez is of £80M.

You cant be serious? The same Suarez that was top scorer in the league that invented parked buses? With a much lower quality team?
Of course he will be better than Alexis against a good defense. He is a better dribbler, a better finisher, and just overall better. Not to mention his decision making is leaps better than Alexis around the box. He is just better on the ball. Once he has an understanding with the team buses better beware.
So yeah....im sure he wont add anything to the team besides the ability to bite someone :facepalm:

You mean to tell me that Luis Suarez who has arguably been the second best player in the world this year will add less than Alexis "can't dribble in tight spaces" Sanchez? Wow.

Hopefully Liverpool's stubbornness leads to him not coming. 100M for Suarez is loco. This ain't Real Madrid.

On that logic tell us and the board who in the world would add more against a good defense then?
It is highly improbable to me that Alexis would be the best fit possible out of any player against tight good defenses and that Suarez or any other couldn't offer more.
This is absurd.

Will see but against Chelsea bus he was invisible. And every team will park bus against us.

To every1 quoting me you do realise most of his goals came against bottom half teams and that a team of similiar playstyle to Atletico in Chelsea he didn't manage to score against in any of his matches.

True but I really don't get why those strong rumours stopped talking about including Alexis in the deal in order to greatly lower the price tag for Suarez.

Yep but I'm skeptical the bringing of Suarez will solve that freaking matter once and for all:lucho:
I think Barca needs much more in terms of the strategy to succesfully bring down those parked buses.
