Im not sure if we are going to appeal to them though. If we do then he gets to play for us right from the start, which would be fantastic. But if in the end they decide to uphold the ban we will be missing him for the most important part of the season. Im not sure that's a risk we are willing to take. I want to see him play more than most but honestly I wouldn't risk it. Could be disastrous to the team.
Plus think about it. Even if they reduce the ban he is still gong to miss some time. How much would they realistically shave off? A month? I'd rather he just gets it over with.

Imo any reduction of the ban is wellcomed. We need the guy very much and such abusive and stupid bans should atleast be greatly reduced if not totally lifted.
Its to early to say but I hope they appeal and that might occure after he officialy signs for Barca.

Any reduction of the ban has already been unwelcomed by FIFA.

He doesn't just play for you like the other players, he leaves everything on the pitch and puts his whole energy and passion into it. A great fighter to have on the team.

I still can't believe it. It just feels weird being here. I never thought he would ever come. But as the known phrase says ''never say never'' :D

This reminds me when Barca signed Eto'o from Mallorca in 2004 to the dismay of Floro! Barca won league 2004-2005 and CL 2005-2006 after the Eto'o signing. I feel a similar path coming!

Eto and Luis two similar fighters that leave alot to be desired off the pitch but on the pitch you need them on your side to win. Enough of nice guys Pedro, Iniesta, Sanchez, Neymar, Messi, Xavi, Busi, Cesc these guys are teddies, glad we got rid of a a few of them..

It's time to surround them with some hunger.

Unfortunately we have to be realistic about the ban. This is his third offense and there is no way they are going to drop it. The best we could do is get like a month taken off. And even then the 3 months would kick in at a terrible time. I just don't see it happening unfortunately =\. We will just have to wait.
Until then I'll continue the dream on FIFA . It's going fantastic so far.

I think the best possible, realistic scenario is to allow him to train with the team, but not partake in matches until the 4 month ban is over.
