Xiol Mary (Tribunal Català de l'Esport): “Sanction on Suárez isn't proportional. Therefore I believe CAS will reduce it. Atleast he may train.”

Looks like it'll be reduced.

All things looking like at the very least his ban on training and entering sports facilities will be lifted and rightfully so, that was utterly ridiculous and downright criminal. Might even get the 4 months part reduced as well.

Looking good. Here's hoping.

Is that from Barcastuff, Flavia? What's their source?

It's from sport.
Their source is Esports Cope. He also mentions neymar's case, that nothing happened and he got out of the wc. But that a bite is more pejorative than a kick to the spine.

"En opinión de Xiol, “estamos hablando de una sanción excesiva y desproporcionada. Es opinable pero desde el punto de vista jurídico, podemos apoyar una sanción pero se puede discutir la proporción de esa sanción. En el caso de Neymar por ejemplo que le deja fuera de competición, no se hizo nada. Lo que pasa es que un mordisco parece más peyorativo que una patada en la espalda”"

Joan Maria Xiol is not the president of CAS but the Catalan Sports Tribunal...He was merely weighing in on what he thought CAS will do

I think if the case is presented well that the ban is right but aspects like "No training" and "no stadium entry" etc are not, then any sane organisation will understand that. The club also suffers from these things.

I've seen a few rumors that his ban length could be halved and that other things like the stadium and training ban could be lifted.

They should also move to reduce the amount of games banned for Barcelona. How many is it for us, 9? That's a lot.

Its not the amount of games. Its the time period. If we we play 100 games before 25 october then the ban is of 100 games. If we don't play any then no ban.

I have heard that CAS is quite sane and just and will probably lift the no training and other stuff apart from the ban at least. If they half the ban then there is nothing better to happen.

inb4 his ban is shortened and haters start saying fifa is in barca's pocket even though it will be CAS that will make the decision.
