Gerrard: "I would have been really sad to see Luis go to Arsenal. With all due respect, I said to him that he was too good for Arsenal."

:D

Gerrard (Liverpool): "I'm disappointed to see Suarez leave now but I am happy for him that’s he has got what he wants and deserves." [dt]

The Court of Arbitation for Sports has called up Luis Suarez regarding his ban. He will be in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 8 August. [md]

From MD:
Tas could shorten Suarez ban to 2 months. Sanction being too harsh and unprecedented will work on Suarez favor, thus being reduced. So he'd be available to Lucho in the round 2 of la liga. Md got this info from La Vanguardia.

TASlona will be our new name. It will be a pain listening to people give out about a shortening of the ban but we need him back as soon as possible.

BLASPHEMY!
If that's true then it would be a godsend :worthy:!!!!!
Really think about the importance of 2 months. If that's true then we can also assume he will be able to train with us while we wait.
Like Pique said, Suarez is going to be itching to show what he has on the pitch. I've never been more excited to see someone play for us before.

Suarez is going to score on his debut for us as long as he starts. Quote me ;)
