IMO, we should start with a double pivot & use Suarez as an impact super-sub.

Even if he's match fit, he still hasn't integrated into the team. So if he starts & ends up having no impact we're left with no tactical options apart from subbing him for Pedro/Munir. Whereas playing with Masch in a double pivot would be a sensible strategy in an away game against RM as it would mitigate the risk of counter-attacks, provide us with numerical superiority in midfield, and allows us to better contain Bale/Ronaldo; and we would still have Suarez as our trump card.

How about a classic Ancelotti style 4-3-1-2.

-----Neymar------Suarez----
------------Messi-----------
-----Masche-------Rakitic---
-------------Busi------------
Mathieu--Pique--Bartra--Alves

^^
We probably wouldn't see something like that in action though. It seems a bit too defensive.

Way too defensive. Where is the creativity in that midfield?

Or we could even play:

-----------Suarez----------
Neymar----Rakitic-----Messi
-----Masche----Busi--------
Mathieu--Pique--Bartra--Alves

Though I doubt we'd ever see something like that in action either. One thing would be certain, the gameplan would be a lot more vertical.

Imagine Rakitic feeding throughballs to Suarez all game :worthy:

The brunt of the creativity would fall upon Messi. But with Iniesta out of form and Rakitic covering for Alves, this is already the case. That formation breaks the shackles off of Rakitic as well, since he doesn't necessarily have to cover for Alves all the time. But again, I don't think we'd ever play like that.

I think Munir will start and Suarez might come in as a sub.

Munir is a hyped teenager. This game is for men. Bring on Suarez to rip them apart.

Oh, IF and only IF he burst with flames....there's no stopping us. I have huge expectations from him and I think he'll deliver. Given how little space he needs to score, with Messi around, sky is the limit.

I still can't believe we have him and he is going to debut soon.

Elite, elite player.

Just look at Liverpool without him, they are a mess. He was to Liverpool as Messi is to Barca or Neymar is to Brazil.

It's just so fucking refreshing to have an actual pure striker on this team, I really missed the days of Eto'o, Henry and Villa.

Suarez is quality and he will deliver. Think about this our attack consists of the best player ever, the future best player in the world, and the best striker in the world.
