9 - Robert Lewandowski

The same Lewa from last season that goes missing from entire portions of the season, except he's more of a flat track bully against the Bochums and Ausburgs of La Liga. His Clasico performance must have been a fluke.

Croatian veteran striker Baturina from Osasuna would add more.

Curiously, I don't see anything negative on Lewa in Catalan press.

Get someone like Luuk de Jong at least for last 15 minutes to win a match in last minutes. Been months since we managed to do so.

Barca have missed 50 big chances already this season and that alone is 17 more than the side with the second highest.

Not all of these fall at Lewandowski’s door of course but it is pretty grim reading.

Are you taking the piss? The problem he’s a soon to be 37 year old striker without any backup.

How many top clubs you know lead the line with a 37 year old?

Second oldest is Harry Kane who is 31 yet the tractor’s fangirls expect us to be content with this tractor leading the line for us and disappearing for 2/3rds of the season.

Very shameless bunch.

Leave him alone, you bought Cavendish, he can win a few stages but of course he won't win the entire tour on his own.
Blockages like that are not uncommon but why did not others have chances?
In Bayern, Muller, Coman, Gnabry were prolific scorers too. It is not like it takes a striker to strike and win a game.
Lewandowski's presence in yesterday’s game was palpable and absorbing Athletico defensive efforts. Maybe Raphina, Olmo, Ferran, Pedri, should have stepped up and do more.
The problem is manifold, none of them knows how to shoot and score.

I don't buy into this lame bitching that because of a 36 year old who can't convert chances, and that alone, the club is not winning.
I said before, bench him the next 3 games, not just 1 or 2, that wouldn't be enough, to readjust, and see how it goes.

Its not that he's not scoring.
At 37 and on this team, its the only job he can do. We are literally playing with 9.5 players on the field. He sure ass cant do anything else, cuz he's too old. And because he cant do anything else, his other teammates has to cover for him. Which inturn hamper their game too.

His only job is to score. And when he doesnt even do that, we will lose.

You bring a new striker, heck not a world beater but a good enough rotation player, and you see how much better we play as a team.
The oppsition right now is paying more attention to our players around him than on him.

However, even though I hate the Lewa's haters, and just like cucarachas, I would love to stomp on them.
I agree and sadly concur that Lewandowski is finished as a full season 1st choice striker for this league intensity and the club expectations.
Time to move on Bobby....time to move on. It can only get worse. Also, because the other team players around you aren't doing always as good as those you had in Bayern. That's another thing.

Way too many excuses for a guy who turns into a fucking bum every season for months.

We’ve gotta live with him rest of the season as we won’t sign anyone in January, but next summer we need to sign a new starter and send this guy packing.
