What an utter disasterclass of a game.

Shame he wasn't taken out earlier.

Maybe 5 days of rest will be golden for him vs Atletico.

To be clear, @Temptation has been a good friend to me here and I respect him for all he has done for me.

I didn't wanna slag him, but he started it by calling me an intellectual armchair wannabe expert. Then proceeded to call me a deranged loner who stalks young girls as well.

Don't know what to say about this. He did play a lot of games recently , some minutes that were also irrelevant due to score , where he should have rather been taken out for rest.

Let's see how these days of rest work for him but for now things don't look so good for him.

It's obvious he is finished. There's no shame in it, he's almost 37. While I think he was overrated in his prime, he was still world-class and one of the best strikers of the last 20 years.

But this is just pathetic. I don't watch every Barca game, but I have seen a decent amount and the only time I was impressed with him was the hammering of Real Madrid in Bernabeu (and he missed two easy chances there and scored two harder ones, highlighting his erratic behaviour and inability to be trusted).

He has to be dropped. He will definitely cost Barca in a tight important game, if he hasn't already.

He didn't score hence he didnt have a good game. Its that simple. Its been like this for 6 months.

People need to come to terms with this. Him on the pitch is we playing with 10 men in the buildup phase and defending.
His ability to beat his marker and get onto the chances is elite. But he's lacking that Millisecond to be clinical, which is bound to happen in this age. And his touch has regressed a lot.
As I have been saying, we should hope during the crucial moments of the season, he does his job well. Lets just hope.

If he was on a Luuk de Jong contract, 2-3M and coming of the bench, he would be fine. But first choice 9 for 30M :lol:
