not really, he burned the bridges for me but you know how we fans are; score some goals and everything is forgoten :)

Fans aren't the problem. Most people haven't even turned on him and some fans hate the board so they don't care.

It's apparently Kahn Brazzo and Nagelsmann who feel he and his agent humiliated them publicly.

What ? Are you serious ?

According to Forum experts, everything is binary.

If a player is young, congrats it's a great signing.

If a player is old, yikes it's a shite signing.

People pretend to know Football business but are actually so basic in their analysis.

Now let me give an example: If Barca got a hot young name like Nunez, he'd never bring the instant goals, the all-round play or the leadership needed at a club like Barca hoping to challenge at the highest level. Nunez needs an elite coach to improve his game and hone his calibre like he has with Klopp.

Nunez at Barca will be like them buying a younger version of Aubamayang without the volume of goals.

Lewandowski is literally the perfect plug and play striker for any team or any system.

Like Guardiola recently remarked, he can easily adapt to any system.

Fans pretend to think a lot about "long term thinking and strategy" but don't realise the short term is just as important and literally lays foundation for the long term. If Barca win trophies soon, it'll bring in more funds and help in attracting better YOUNG players for the club. The club will have a much better morale and sponsors will be happier.

Also, in today's trigger happy environment, no manager really lasts long term. Gone are the days of Fergie. There's a reason Xavi wants this signing so badly. He can't wait forever. He wants to start challenging next season.

"Long term projects" are Bollox. You build a competitive team whether it is by buying young players or by getting in a sprinkle of experience. Mixture of the two and finding the right bakance is key.

It's all about being competitive for the next season. Buzz words like "long term strategy" is literally dependent on the foundations you lay for your upcoming season.

This is Football club Barcelona not Leicester City.

Very serious.

When Bayern and Liverpool fan think it is great business for us to pay 50m for a 34-year old whose wage demand is around 28m, that goes to show how wrong it is.
Well Bayern are reportedly paying 40 million + for Mane who is nowhere near the player he was about 18 months ago .

Lewandowski is still amazing and looks to have another 4 or 5 years in him

Lewandowski sounds too desperate from the club, which they probably are considering the polar opposite position of us and Madrid .

Come on. There is a good reason Bayern has been hesitant to renew him, not willing to offering him a longer contract.

Not to mention his wage demands.
